Four‑year‑old Johanna, who was undergoing treatment for cancer, had one special wish: to spend a whole day swimming with her family. Since her diagnosis, Johanna hadn’t been able to go into the water, but thanks to a new wetsuit that kept her port dry – and with wonderful support from Center Parcs – her wish finally came true. Johanna spent a magical day at the Subtropical Swimming Paradise – splashing, laughing and soaking up every moment. She loved it so much that she only came out of the pool once for lunch, and even then couldn’t wait to dive back in! Johanna’s mum said; “We had such a lovely time today. Johanna had an awesome time. She enjoyed the water slides and being in the pool and she was completely in love with all of the lights in the park. She was very sad to leave. We hope to go again next year when it is Winter Wonderland, as she really loves that. Thank you so much. This gave us a perfect memory to last a lifetime.”
