Vejas is 7 years old and lives with Lissencephaly. His wish was to spend quality time with his family playing in a sensory room, with a sound bath and music session – as he loves music and dancing! Vejas’ wish came true at the John Bunyan Centre, where his grandmother, who was visiting from abroad, was able to join them, making the experience even more special. After exploring the sensory room for an hour, Susanna guided the family through a magical sound bath session using soothing instruments. They all loved the opportunity to relax, with some family members even drifting off to sleep! Vejas’s mum later shared how it was the first time they had experienced a sound bath, and how rested and calm they had felt when they got home. To help remember the memory, Vejas was gifted some sensory items to play with at home. Vejas’s mother said “I recently had the pleasure of having my sons wish granted by Creating Memories and it was an incredible experience. The sensory room and the sound bath were great and we had a lovely time. Pritti was extremely professional and attentive, and she made sure that every detail was taken care of.
