Here at Creating Memories, ‘Local supporting local’ is one of our values and we are extremely excited to tell you all about our latest partnership with Pure Planet Recycling.

Pure Planet Recycling recycle WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), and we have teamed up with them to provide unwanted laptops and tablets to the children we work with who spend prolonged periods of time in hospital. The children can play games and watch programmes to help keep them occupied during their stay.

Because these laptops are ‘old technology,’ they would ordinarily have been recycled, but by passing them on to these children and their families we are able to give them a new lease of life.

We have received eight tablets so far and look forward to receiving more that we can provide to those in need. Thank you to Pure Planet for their generosity and support.
