To say that Jake, 18, is obsessed with wolves would be an understatement! Despite living with Myotonic Dystrophy, Jake wanted to get as close as he could to his favourite animal. Jake’s wish turned into a magical reality when, thinking he was simply breaking up a long journey to Wales, he suddenly found himself arriving at a wolf sanctuary and realising his dream was about to come true. Jake spent the day learning from experts, seeing the wolves up close and interacting with them. It was an experience he embraced wholeheartedly, asking lots of questions and soaking up every last detail. The whole family cherished the special day, and the thoughtful souvenirs such as real wolf hair, books and a soft toy meant that Jake will remember his experience forever.
