Bedford-based charity Creating Memories has produced greetings cards that are now available to purchase locally.
The cards are the result of a collaboration between the founder of Creating Memories Pritti Saggi and local illustrator Sarah Harrison. What started as a personal project inspired by Creating Memories, led to an overwhelming positive response online and the creation of the cards, as the colourful design – ‘The Path of Joy’ – perfectly captures the desire to bring joy to others.
The cards have been printed locally by White Hart Press and are available to purchase in both the original mural colours and the official Creating Memories colours.
The cards retail for £2 each (with all proceeds going direct to Creating Memories) and are designed to help spread joy to those we care about, especially as keeping in touch with others has been so difficult over the last year.
The cards are currently available to buy in the following outlets in Bedford: Number 13, Made in Bedford, Vanilla Tree, Papillion Coffee House and The Vardo.
Founder of Creating Memories Pritti Saggi said;
“At the start of this project I could never have imagined such a brilliant response from the local community! From Sarah’s incredible talent in bringing my pathway to life, to the brilliant White Hart Press who have been so supportive and turned the cards around in record time and of course to the amazing venues who have agreed to sell the cards on our behalf, I am so grateful.
By using and supporting local businesses we all get to nurture and promote what is available on our doorstep and I have been so inspired by the local collaboration that I have been part of so far as the charity continues to grow. If you are a local business and would be interested in supporting Creating Memories in future, please do get in touch.”
The Creating Memories printed offering is also set to grow, as wall prints will also soon be available. Follow @CreatingMemories on Facebook for updates!
