Rogan’s Wish
Rogan's Wish

Wish:

To watch a theatre show in the West End

When:

August 2024

Where:

Hertfordshire

Description:

Rogan, 12, had been diagnosed with Leukaemia. He had reached out to Creating Memories to see if he could watch a London theatre show with his family, but unfortunately that was not possible as he was about to undergo an operation. Luckily, once Rogan had recovered from the surgery and was feeling well enough, we could arrange for him to go and see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, followed by a meal out. It was a long day with two performances but, spurred on by some yummy food and the anticipation of it all, Rogan kept going and absolutely loved the production! Rogan’s mum said “We can’t express the gratitude we have for Pritti and Creating Memories. Pritti’s patience during a year of rescheduling was reassuring and always empathetic. When we finally managed to get to the day itself, everything ran smoothly, the experience was a joy and there was so much happiness. [It was] exactly what was needed after a year of non-stop stress and medicalisation. Thank you so much for making Rogan’s wish come true.”
