Spreading a little Festive Joy!

J&B CC regularly organise events, such as a golf tournament, Valentines dinner and dance, Diwali celebration and a ‘Thanks for Giving’ celebration, in order to raise money for a number of different charities. They are supported through sponsorship and donations from local businesses, organisations and the wider community. 

Items such as family board games, cuddly toys and talking teddy bears for younger children were purchased, along with boxes of biscuits and chocolates. At a time when families were in the midst of another lockdown and missing the help and support of loved ones, being able to provide these gifts to surprise children and encourage some quality family time was crucial.

Working alongside a local hospice, together we were able to spark some joy for 50 local families. Our thanks go out to amazing Bedfordians Jagtar Singh, Billy Gill and Jashpal Mann, who made this possible!
